Jogger

The jogger was customized for a boy with a mobility disability. The modifications made to the jogger will provide safety and comfort for the child when he is being transported, and ease and peace of mind for his mother. The jogger allows the child and his mother to participate in more family outings away from a sidewalk.

Adaptations made to the jogger include:
• Replaced the front wheel of the jogger with a smaller wheel to maneuver more easily
• Installed brakes on both sides to enable control of the jogger with one hand
• Installed shoulder harness straps for the child’s safety
• Rebuilt the foot area to accommodate one foot longer than the other.
